Professor Ojowu is a leading light in academics. In 1999. Born August 16, 1948 at Ohuhu-Owo, Oju LGA of Benue State. He bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from ABU Zaria in 1974, Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut, USA and a PhD from the same university in 1980. He was a lecturer in ABU from 1986 to 1988, Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning Benue State; Member, National Economic Intelligence Committee (NEIC), The Presidency, Abuja. He was appointed Chief Economic Adviser to President Obasanjo in 2003 and Pro-chancellor and Chairman of the Governing council of the Benue State University in 2009 till date. He is married to Mrs Eunice Ojowu and happily blessed with five children Ugbem, Ode, Ojowu, Ijayi, Agwu and five grand children. Happy birthday Sir. See more photos after the cut.
