Abstract
This study “An Evaluation of Employee, Relations in Nigerian Railway Corporation in Motivation and productivity in Makurdi”, sought to find out whether the prevailing employee relation strategies in Nigerian Railway Corporation Makurdi whether they are supportive or defensive to the management process of the organization. It also sought out to know the strategy predominantly used in Nigerian Railway Corporation Makurdi to influence employee attitudes and productivity. Using the survey research method, the study found that safety health and welfare at work ate the factors that helped to generate supportive employee relation strategies in the corporation. It also found out that the predominantly used employee relations strategy (joint consultation) influenced employee attitude positively and encourage productivity. The study concludes that a conducive employee relation in Nigerian Railway Corporation Makurdi has led to increased productivity in the corporation and recommends that the corporation should sustain its policy on employee relations.

This study “An Evaluation of Employee, Relations in Nigerian Railway Corporation in Motivation and productivity in Makurdi”, sought to find out whether the prevailing employee relation strategies in Nigerian Railway Corporation Makurdi whether they are supportive or defensive to the management process of the organization.
