MAKURDI – Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue state has decried the rising cases of gay activities, urging the Church to lead the campaign against the unholy activity in Nigeria.This came as the state uncovered the existence of a 400 member gay club in Makurdi
Suswam also cautioned parents against abdicating responsibilities of keeping a close tab on their children whom he said were easily being lured into homosexuality.
The Governor spoke yesterday at a special thanksgiving service in honour of the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Beautification, Dorcas Depuun at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, North Bank, Makurdi.
